The Commercial School is a branch of the vocational school Rothenburg-Dinkelsbühl and is located just outside the old town wall. The school has 223 pupils in three different branches. One starting in year 6 (the school is one of just a few project schools in Bavaria offering this starting date), year 7 and year 10. Each branch finishes with the same GCSE-exams (after 5, 4 or 2 years). The school teaches in different professions ranging from industrial clerks to nursery-nurses, and from cooks to mechanics.
